[ESP-ING] Trazos y Matices

Una de las cosas que más me gusta en esta vida son las manualidades y hace poco me invitaron a una tarde de mujeres llamada trazos y matices, donde la idea era pintar un bolso pequeño con algún dibujo por supuesto que me anoté para esa actividad pues sabía que iba a hacer algo relajante y que me iba a gustar muchísimo, nosotros siempre debemos darnos la oportunidad de hacer cosas diferentes y pasar tiempo de calidad para poder despejarnos de las actividades diarias de nuestros trabajos y Hogar.

Realmente pintar no es lo mío, no soy una persona que se dedica a pintar pues siento que no es mi mejor habilidad, sin embargo, no me cierro a aprender y hacer cosas diferentes pues de eso se trata la vida de que podamos salir de nuestras zonas de Confort y afrontar nuevos retos, así que me di la oportunidad de ir y pintar algo a mi gusto y a mi estilo.

Para esta actividad pagué un costo de $10 lo que me pareció chévere Porque además de pintar hubieron algunas actividades de juego, y hasta un llavero pude ganarme, Por otra parte, compartir con otras mujeres que no había compartido mucho y esto trae Unión, son personas de la iglesia a la que asisto y pude conocer nuevas personas, al llegar nos recibieron muy bian con cafe y postre, éramos 36 personas y además de hacer otras actividades también nos dieron una palabra de edificación para cada una de nosotras como mujeres.

Las mesas estaban ya listas para cuando entráramos, estaba el bolso colocado encima de la mesa, un pincel, un lapicero, y una parte no sé cómo se llama donde se colocan las pinturas, cada quien escogió el bolso que quería pintar, sin embargo, en la actividad nos hicieron movernos de puesto, pero yo me enamoré de ese bolso, así que me llevé mi bolsito hacia donde me movieron, no quería perder ese diseño.

Habían muchos dibujos diferentes y otros iguales, así que cada quien escogió lo que más le gustaba y trabajamos con colores que eran los que habían en la mesa, trabajamos con pintura al frío lo que quiere decir que no eran pinturas de tela como tal, así que este bolsito es solo de adorno pues no se podrá lavar ya que sí se hace se caerá la pintura, pues no es la adecuada para tela.

Como yo no sé pintar le dije a géminis que me ayudara con un dibujo, con ese dibujo cómo lo podría pintar y me dio la foto de cómo lo podría pintar y los colores sin embargo no seguí esa paleta de colores pues no habían esos colores, esta foto de abajo fue la foto que me dio Géminis, colores pasteles, colores claros sin embargo yo quería algo más vibrante pero sí me dio algo de luces o guía al momento de poder pintar ya que como dije antes no es mi fuerte, pero me gustó mi resultado, comencé pintando el libro que en este caso para mí sería la Biblia, la quise pintar en tonos azules con verde tal como me lo decía la imagen de Géminis aunque esos colores eran un poco más sutiles más pasteles.

Al mezclar colores hice algo parecido y me gustó muchísimo el resultado comencé a pintar y realmente me olvidé de tantas cosas que me concentré bastante en mi pintura que solo tomé una foto durante el proceso, solo iba mezclando y colocando colores y me envolví en un clima de relajación, con música instrumental de fondo, un momento especial.

Después de tomar la foto de cómo iba mi proceso se me olvidó seguir tomando fotografías, solo me dediqué a pintar y a disfrutar este momento, aunque no es mi fuerte creo que quiero seguir intentándolo, me gustó mezclar colores como el amarillo con el rojo para formar el naranja, el azul con el rojo para formar partes moradas, con el blanco le hice destellos blancos a algunas cosas para Resaltar, siento que me faltó en la parte de abajo colocarle azul, así que pronto veré si tengo pintura azul en casa para terminar esa parte de abajo y hacerle otros detalles que me gustaría como colocar corazones y una firma en la parte de abajo, también me gustaría colocarle trazos de líneas negras, así quedó ya que fue el tiempo que nos dieron.

Al finalizar nos tomamos fotografías todas con nuestros trabajos, algunas terminadas y otros no, fue un tiempo de calidad donde pude despejar mi mente y enamorarme de este bello arte de la pintura.

One of the things I love most in life is crafts, and recently I was invited to a women’s afternoon gathering called “Trazos y Matices,” where the idea was to paint a small bag with a design. Of course, I signed up for the activity because I knew it would be relaxing and that I would really enjoy it. We should always give ourselves the chance to do different things and spend quality time together so we can clear our minds from the daily grind of work and home life.

Honestly, painting isn’t really my thing; I’m not someone who dedicates time to painting because I feel it’s not my strongest skill. However, I’m open to learning and trying new things—that’s what life is all about: stepping out of our comfort zones and taking on new challenges. So I gave myself the chance to go and paint something that suited my taste and style.

For this activity, I paid a fee of $10, which I thought was great because, in addition to painting, there were some games, and I even won a keychain. On the other hand, spending time with other women I hadn’t spent much time with before—and this brings us together—they’re people from the church I attend, and I got to meet new people. When we arrived, they welcomed us warmly with coffee and dessert. There were 36 of us, and in addition to doing other activities, they also shared a word of encouragement with each of us as women.

The tables were already set up when we walked in. There was a bag on each table, along with a paintbrush, a pencil, and one of those things—I don’t know what it’s called—where you put the paints. Everyone chose the bag they wanted to paint, However, during the activity, they made us switch seats, but I had fallen in love with that bag, so I took my little bag with me to where they moved me—I didn’t want to lose that design.

There were lots of different designs and some that were the same, so everyone chose the one they liked best, and we used whatever colors were on the table. We used cold-weather paint, which means it wasn’t fabric paint per se, so this little bag is just for decoration—you can’t wash it because if you do, the paint will come off since it’s not meant for fabric.

Since I don’t know how to paint, I asked Géminis to help me with a design—how I could paint it based on that design—and she gave me a photo showing how to paint it and the colors. However, I didn’t follow that color palette because those colors weren’t available. The photo below is the one Géminis gave me: pastel colors, light colors. However, I wanted something more vibrant, but it did give me some guidance when it came time to paint, since, as I said before, it’s not my strong suit. But I liked the result. I started by painting the book—which, in this case, would be the Bible for me. I wanted to paint it in shades of blue and green, just as the image from Géminis showed me, although those colors were a bit more subtle and pastel.

When I was mixing colors, I did something similar, and I loved the result so much that I started painting and really forgot about everything else. I was so focused on my painting that I only took one photo during the process. I was just mixing and applying colors, and I found myself enveloped in a sense of relaxation, with instrumental music playing in the background—it was a special moment.

After taking a photo of how my project was coming along, I forgot to keep taking pictures; I just focused on painting and enjoying the moment. Even though it’s not my strong suit, I think I want to keep trying. I liked mixing colors like yellow and red to make orange, and blue and red to create purple sections. I used white to add white highlights to some parts to make them stand out. I feel like I missed adding blue to the bottom part, so I’ll check soon to see if I have any blue paint at home to finish that bottom section and add other details I’d like, such as hearts and a signature at the bottom. I’d also like to add some black lines. This is how it turned out since that was the time we were given.

When we finished, we all took pictures with our artwork—some finished, others not. It was a quality time where I could clear my mind and fall in love with this beautiful art of painting.
