Learning about textile with @yo-yo #3 Weave Ramie fiber/染め織りのこと #3 苧麻を織る

So this is the first video post for "Learning about textile with Hive account@yo-yo". I tried to add narration but listen to my speaking English was horrible...jaaa... so I made subtitle instead in English and Japanese. Maybe someday... but not yet :(

I weave Ramie fiber(a bast fiber similar with linen or hemp) with back strap weaving machine. I stayed about 2 months to learn weaving from teacher Omaki-san this summer. I only slept 2-3 hours a day to preparation or checking transfer videos and it is super country side so didn't have internet. So I'm a bit groggy in this video.

Any way... this is the first one so I'm not sure the length of the video is ok or interesting for everyone or... but I think I did my best at least right now. Since I'm an archivist so I wish to have your opinions not only weaving but also the quality of editing or way of showing or... as a archive study. Thank you very much for watching!

染め織りのことシリーズに初めて動画で投稿してみます。ナレーションをつけようと試みましたが、特に英語が酷くて自分で聞いてられないので、ひとまず字幕を付けることにしました。英語と日本語で書いています。

この夏に勉強させていただいた苧麻（チョマ・からむし）という繊維を織る作業をビデオに纏めてみました。糸の準備が間に合わなかったり、映像のチェックをしてパソコンに取り込む作業などがあったり、滞在した2ヶ月の間、毎日2-3時間しか寝られずにいたので、かなりグロッキーな状態で機織りしています。

まだ最初ですので長さは長過ぎないか、撮影や編集の方法はこれでいいかなどいろいろ疑問に思うことはありますが、皆さんとやり取りをしながらちょうどいい感じを探って行けたらと思っています。今回は8分くらいに仕上げています。導入編と思っていただいて、また色々ご意見戴けると嬉しいです。ありがとうございます＾＾
