My name is Melody... or at least that’s what my human says. She gave me that name because she’s an artist, and I’m the one who has to suffer the consequences.

Three years ago, after her English class, she spotted me lyin

g in a small cardboard box. Even though she hadn't planned on getting another pet, she realized I wasn't just any ordinary dog—hahaha—and took me home.

My human says she saved me, but I think I ended up saving her a little bit, too. I’ve been there for her happy days, but also for the times when things weren't so easy. I bring color and joy to the house, even if I am restless and mischievous. I give them something money can't buy:

• Companionship
• Unconditional love
• A reason to smile every day.

But my story hasn't just been about playtime and naps in the sun; I’ve had my own adventures, too. I’m not just the baby of the family—I’m also a mother to five puppies and a grandmother to five more. I’m a seasoned dog.

In these three years, I’ve had to move three times. Three different places, three new spaces to learn, three fresh starts. And although everything felt strange at first, I always had one constant: I’ve never been separated from my family, because they are my home. And "home" is that person who hugs you when you’re scared, worries when you don’t eat, celebrates your silly antics, and calls you by name with love.

Hace tres años ella despues de sus clases de ingles me vio tirada en una pequeña caja de carton y aunque no habia intenciones de tener otra mascota...se dio cuenta de que yo no soy cualquier perrita jajajaja y me llevó a su casa.

Mi humana dice que me salvó, pero yo creo que yo también llegué a salvarla un poquito a ella.Porque he estado en sus días felices, pero también en esos días donde las cosas no han sido fáciles. Yo le doy color y alegría a esa casa, aunque yo sea intranquila y traviesa.Porque yo les doy algo que no se puede comprar:

• Compañía
• Amor sin condiciones
• Una razón para sonreír cada día.

Pero mi historia no ha sido solamente juegos y siestas al sol...También he tenido mis propias aventuras.no solo soy la hija pequeña de la casa...si no que soy madre de 5 cachorros y abuela de 5 cachorros también. Soy una can con experiencia.

En estos tres años he tenido que cambiar de casa tres veces. Tres lugares diferentes, tres nuevos espacios que aprender, tres comienzos nuevos, y aunque al principio todo era extraño, siempre tuve algo que nunca cambió: nunca me he separado de mi familia por que ellos son mi hogar, y un hogar es esa persona que te abraza cuando tienes miedo, que se preocupa cuando no comes, que celebra tus locuras y que te llama por tu nombre con amor.
