A week and three days ago, I bought the 71cm Selfie Stick S03-S tripod. I decided to treat myself because with my ring light tripod, it's really hard to take photos (or videos) at the angle of the table. I mean, I can adjust it to a smaller size, but since it's quite large, it's difficult. And since these have Bluetooth controls, it would be easier to take shots remotely. That's why I wanted to make this investment. I looked at several models, but I didn't want anything too fancy since I don't have a big budget and I prefer to save up for other tools. Anyway, I came across this selfie tripod for $8.50 and decided to give it a try.

The box isn't very big, and inside, besides a small manual in English and Chinese (I think), there's a small white bag containing the tripod and its charging cable. By moving the top part, you can see the remote control integrated into the handle so you don't lose it. To remove it, simply slide it upwards with your thumb (as if you were uncapping a TV remote or pushing a button forward) and it will pop out of its slot.

To connect the tripod to your phone, simply press and hold the button on the remote for a moment until a small blue light appears. Go to your phone, turn on Bluetooth, and the device name should appear immediately; in this case, it's SelfieCom. Connect it, and that's it! When you press the button with the camera on, it will activate and take your photo.

Open the phone clip by twisting it upwards. To insert the phone, simply twist the head upwards so it's free and visible. Hold the tripod firmly and, with your other hand, pull the top tab upwards. Place the phone sideways (in a horizontal position) inside the space you opened and let the tab gently return downwards so it securely grips the phone.

If you're going to use the LED light for your photos or videos, just press and hold the button next to the bulb to turn it on. I was really surprised by the light; it's quite bright (and I don't really know how long the brightness will last), but in this case, I prefer to use the ring light, since it has a quality light that I like and it harmonizes the shots better.

The only drawback is that the stand doesn't rotate to hold the phone vertically (especially useful for TikTok or Instagram shots), but hey, for the price and what I'm going to use it for right now, it's fine. Later I'll invest in other, much better tools that offer better quality.
