"Refreshing"
Mixed media,14x18cm,2026

Though it's gradually warming up,
spring water remains cold
water that creates a pure stream.

Cherry blossoms bloom along the riverbank,
a mist-like cluster of flowers floating.
Then a snowstorm of petals danced,
fluttering down into the river.
I scooped up cherry blossom petals
along with the cool water.

少しずつ暖かくなってきたけれど
春の水はまだ冷たい
清らかな流れを作る水

川のほとりには桜が咲いていて
かすみのような花の集まりが浮かぶ
そして花吹雪が舞って
花びらが川にひらひらと落ちていった
私は桜の花びらを清涼な水と
一緒にすくった
