🥇 Wednesday walk through lively Vranje, Serbia by jelenaa@jelenaa

As we walked through Vranje, everyday life unfolded around us. In many courtyards, there were large piles of firewood, ready for the winter. Among the newer buildings, we passed old houses dating back to the last century, reminders of a different Vranje. There are many old buildings scattered throughout the town, and together they preserve something of its character and the spirit of times gone by.

🥈 BUILT INTO THE ROCK by ladytruckview@ladytruckview

When we take a closer look at these buildings, it's easy to notice that they seem to grow directly out of the rock. I still can't get over how it was even possible to build a town in such a place. It looks as if the Italians didn't try to adapt the landscape to the town. Quite the opposite – they adapted the town to the landscape that was already there.

🥉 Enjoying the Sunset View at the Lhokseumawe City Reservoir by nurfay@nurfay

One afternoon that took me by surprise, my husband invited me out to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of late afternoon as night fell in the city where he works. The place was a bit far from home, but this walk made the atmosphere feel different. It was warm, and of course, I’d never been there before On a late afternoon like this. Usually, We arrived in the morning at sunrise this is my favorite spot for jogging, and my we are had never visited it at dusk. Instead of a surprise, my husband treated me to an extraordinary view.
