Calm Down.
Being anxious about a particular thing delays our blessings …
I remember when my younger sister told me of how worried she was because she had not yet been offered admission into the institution and the course she applied for. The pressure became worse and the anxiety grew when majority of her clique of friends and old school mates were admitted already into the higher institution, including those ones whose scores were below hers.
I shared my own experience with her and one thing I told her was that she should remove her mind from the admission thing. When I told her that, she felt a bit sad because she thought I was not caring enough.
But, “experience they say “is the best teacher”. I was able to sympathize and empathize with her.
After, a few days, I asked her consistently if she had gotten the admission and her response was that she had not checked. I noticed that she was reluctant towards the admission thing- I guess she adhered to my advice and learnt from my experience.
Seeing how reluctant she was, I offered to check the admission on her behalf and her status had changed from “NOT ADMITTED” to “CONGRATULATIONS, YOU HAVE ACCEPTED ADMISSION”.
