Just steps
Sometimes, just thinking about how everything moves, the dynamics of life where we all have to move for everything—whether to study, work, or simply for pure leisure—is enough to make you wonder. Life is a constant, a place where we all converge on the streets. I also think about how many times I've bumped into the same person multiple times on the same street, and I'm aware of that. Even though we live in a city of perhaps millions of people, which might seem like a lot, there will always be those places where these encounters happen.
That's what I wanted to capture in these photographs: the street and its people with their own routines and dynamics. It's chaos in motion and the beauty of every step. Although we're usually not aware of it because we're focused on what we're doing, at some point we'll stop to think about what we've seen and what we're doing on the street, as well as analyze our own surroundings and notice those details that matter.
All photographs are my own work.
