I know what you might be thinking... what's this title all about, Wes? Well, this post has been sitting in my PeakD Editor for quite some time. Conversely, many of you already know what I have been dealing with, and why I have "been away". Much the same, you know, I don't go into great detail about my personal life.
A complete show of transparency? I have been writing this post since I typed that Taking A Short Break. post. Not the same day. But that's how long I have been away. Sure, I have been behind the scenes in a few Discord Servers... curated a few posts. But I just had to pause...
May 22nd... You know I missed my "Eight Year's On The Blockchain" moment. I missed my community "Six Year's On The Blockchain" moment... Never thought it would make it that far lol. But you see.... my moms life partner passed away in 2023. Mom fell and broke her hip... twice. We brought her back home to live with us, because no one else deserved to take care of her. They couldn't, like we could, anyway... I was in a wheelchair for a while. I don't drive anymore... Don't take this as complaining! NO no... not what my intentions are! The world seems constipated... yeah? You feel it? Free Our Mind... What's that? Oh yes... Hive account@mondoshawan is part of the awesome. Started it actually... we just (Hive account@stayten too) try to help folks clear the air, and your "brian" (ha ha I know). I won't be going back to how things were... "before". But I am not going anywhere, I just wanted everyone to know where I was... my plans movng forward, etceteraaaaaaa........ I am not going to make this some super awesome 5000 word post. I just want to say something, then I am going to get this published!
Listen... everyone is ALWAYS going on about, "Tell your friends and family you love them!"... "You never know what might happen!"... When you are put in the situation of taking care of the person that was your rock... your whole world... that taught you to be who you are... and they struggle daily to remember who they are. Well, here's that "I don't talk much about my personal life". I will say this... I have seen all of you who are still using the #thoughtfuldailypost TAG or posting in the community. Thank You. I can't guarantee I will be curating every post... and for those of you dear souls, who have delegated your precious Hive Power? Thank you, as well. Please know I am not leaving our Blockchain... I am just taking care of things and will be back soon.....
