A Sacrifice: Poetry
Living on the edge,
Of dawn...
Amongst the poor
& downtrodden
One rises above
A sacrifice
Once made
The blood
An offering
To peace
For the sins,
Of men
Aplenty.
In the rising
Storms...
Many shalth
Perish...
Few must survive.
As new dawn begins
The nails of sin,
Eating the flesh
From within...
Thus the redemption,
Achieved for the heavenly
Bread to be broken...
Of day and night
To strive for peace.
