Taylor's rage echoed in the hut. “Luck always favors you!” he spat, storming away. "I almost had the crook," he fumed.
Behind him, the King’s lips curled into a sly grin, relief washing over him. That was a close one, he mused.
"But Luck? Nay. I set the stage, boy!"
