From Tomboy to Chic... 5 Minute Freewrite Daily Prompt

Howdy Freewriters 🤗! Welcome to my 5 Minute Freewrite blog😊.

It all started with a shift of mindset.
From having to try so hard to just being present.
Little by little, I saw the change.
Tiny, yet significant.
How acceptance sneaked in, paving way for confidence and appreciation.
Esteem shot high, like blood pressure, but I ain't bringing it down, not now, not ever.

I got to hibernate.
From having to put on a masculine front all the time, to embracing my femininity.
The wardrobe changed, with a single dress, but worth a start.
From a tomboy to a chic.
More dresses followed, then the skirts squeezed themselves in, to give the chic in me a gentle push toward being girly.
From uncomfortable to comfort, my latest mutation.
I get to balance, masculinity and femininity, depending on how the day shows up.
But I love my new found fashion mutation. It wasn't as hard as I thought, neither was I late to the party.
I still can, because I am.
