Howdy Freewriters and Happy New week🤗! Welcome to my 5 Minute Freewrite blog😊.
The festivities stretched on for two days and nights, and Jack, ever the extrovert, made it his mission to squeeze every ounce of joy out of them. "Y.O.L.O!" he declared across his social media feed, posting clips of his wild dance moves, bottle poppings, and party cups clinking in rhythm.
His twin brother, Jose, is the opposite; quiet, calm, an introvert by nature. Watching Jack's antics, he urged, "Maybe dial it down a notch, Jack."
"C'mon, don't be a party pooper," Jack teased, sucking in his lips in exaggerated mockery. Jose just laughed, shaking his head. After all, it was Jack's way of living.
When the revelry ended, Jack had more than just memories to nurse. His throat was raw, his trachea burning as if he'd swallowed his Adam's apple twice over. His voice, his party instrument, was completely gone. He had no choice but to dial it down to recovery.
