Curing my Cancer... 5 Minute Freewrite Daily Prompt

Howdy Freewriters 🤗! Welcome to my 5 Minute Freewrite blog 😊. I wish you a successful week ahead.

I joined Hive in December 2024, but for almost 3 months straight, I gave in to the cancer of procrastination and doubt.
During that time, I could have been building my empire but instead, I felt not good enough; not worthy enough to be here, I did not belong.

I'd write a post, read it, hate it, and delete it. Sometimes I'd spend days on one piece, trying to make it perfect, only to never hit "publish" . Meanwhile, I watched others grow and wished I could too.

Then I found this particular community, Freewriters, that gave me the gift of acceptance, a place I could simply be, no judgment. Slowly, I started posting, even when I felt unsure. I remember standing by my phone, anxious, counting upvotes like my life depended on it, wondering if I belonged.

Step by step, I started curing my cancer. Now I've made myself a promise, at least one post every day. I know that in the near future, I will have completely defeated my doubts and procrastination.
