scatter love everywhere

It sounds exhausting and dangerous... scatter... love.. everywhere. I don't believe that if you ask me, I will say "I am in", it's simply too much besides I learnt it't not worth the energy. Love? Can anyone tell me what it stands for? Friendship, loyalty, fun or at least a good laugh at certain times? Does it bring anything except for worries, the loss, the fear and the empty wallet? Scatter? No thank you, I rather stay and keep my hands in my pockets. Manipulation, being abused and not knowing what to believe is too much if you finally have your life in pace. Pace and peace shouldn't be brought into danger by parasites, abusive people.
If love exists, I am sure it will work for itself and the domino or snowball effect will help to spread it everywhere, or at least at those places where it's needed most.
