The best way to dominate someone in an interaction is to have that person not notice he's being dominated. The best way to do this is through sophistry, which is a skill that imitates discussion while in reality focuses on domination.

How to recognize a sophistry tactic like an expert. A person who attempts to engage a manipulator or verbal aggression with logic and reason simply gets bullied. Step one is to recognize it, step two is to have a plan what to do about it.
