MaterialOS : doesn't show search results when rotating the screen

Expected behavior
App was supposed show to the searched result even when roatating the app to landscape mode .
Actual behavior
App resets the search results when roatating the app.
How to reproduce
Download the app
Launch the app
Tap on the search button on top
Do some search
Now rotate the screen
The results disappears
