Why does sleep paralysis happens ??
Sleep paralysis is one of the scariest things the human body can do.
Your mind wakes up before your body does.
You can see your room.
You know you’re awake.
But you can’t move.
Can’t speak.
Sometimes you hear voices, footsteps, or feel like someone is watching you. Some people even see shadow figures.
That’s because part of your brain is awake while another part is still in dream mode.
Your body is still temporarily “locked” in REM sleep the stage where your brain prevents you from acting out dreams.
So for a moment, reality and dreams mix together.
Half awake.
Half dreaming.
It’s not a spiritual attack like many people think. It’s actually a sleep phenomenon caused by stress, lack of sleep, exhaustion, anxiety, or irregular sleeping habits.
One of the strangest and most terrifying experiences a human can have.
