A university lecturer is drowning in debt, his marriage is falling apart, and his young son needs expensive medical treatment. His teenage daughter, tired of her parents' constant arguments, has lost hope in their family.
Everything changes when he discovers an abandoned vehicle filled with dead bodies and a huge amount of cash. Desperate to save his family from financial ruin, he takes the money, unaware that it belongs to a dangerous drug cartel.
As cartel members search for the missing cash and a detective closes in on the truth, his life spirals out of control. His wife becomes suspicious of his sudden access to money, while his daughter unknowingly becomes involved after discovering some of the hidden cash herself.
