Important Update to VIMM's DHF Proposal

Following our recent announcement about VIMM's future direction and collaboration with Dagamers, we've made significant revisions to our DHF proposal. These changes reflect a deeper understanding of what the Hive ecosystem needs and how we can provide the most value to the community.

A New Direction

After careful consideration and valuable community feedback, we're pivoting our proposal from rebuilding VIMM as a single platform to creating an open-source streaming framework. This framework will enable developers throughout the Hive ecosystem to build their own streaming solutions.

Key Changes to the Proposal

1. Focused Scope: Development of a comprehensive streaming framework
2. Reduced Budget: Funding requirement lowered from 325 HBD/day to 113 HBD/day
3. Clear Deliverables:
   • Core streaming server implementation
   • Reference frontend application
   • Complete technical documentation
   • Development and testing tools
4. Open Source Commitment: All code will be publicly available on GitHub
5. 6-Month Development Timeline: Clear milestones and deliverables

Why This Makes Sense
