La Puntilla

Greetings to the members of the #blackandwhite community. Today I took a walk along La Puntilla, located on the left bank of the Almendares River estuary. This area is part of the coastline of the Miramar neighborhood in the Playa municipality. The shoreline is very rugged and lacks sand, making it unsuitable for swimming. Furthermore, the water is polluted from waste discharged into the river by industries and residents. Nevertheless, locals engage in fishing and recreational activities. Some fishermen use rudimentary boats, while others catch fish directly from the shore with fishing rods and nets. It's always a pleasure to share these experiences with you.
