Havana's Malecón
Greetings to the community members. Walking along Havana's Malecón is one of the most enjoyable outdoor activities there is. This stretch of seaside promenade extends for several kilometers through the city and passes through several of its municipalities. The wall that borders the sea has a meaning that goes beyond a simple architectural barrier; on the contrary, it is a romantic, cultural, and defining symbol of the city and its inhabitants. It's common to see people sitting on the wall to rest, chat, court their partners, or walk along it gazing out to sea. These images illustrate the daily life of Cubans, as eternal dreamers who travel on foot in search of their goals. Official entry for the #monomad challenge hosted by @monochromes and
@brumest.
