Very Venezuelan

In the Caracas metro, it is common to find people asking for money; most claim to be sick and even demonstrate it with their presence, although many also lie... Some sell candies, others sing.

Yesterday, a pair of blind people delighted my soul early in the morning with their performance. One was carrying a speaker playing the instrumental part of the song at a moderate volume, and the other sang sweetly. I accompanied them with my voice, but just for myself.

I like the song they sang; it is Venezuelan, and the instruments that accompany it are basically the harp, the cuatro, and maracas. I love that my mother instilled in me a taste for this beautiful music, which is not highly valued even by most Venezuelans.

Despite what I just said, this pair of young people received some very sincere applause and brought out smiles of pride. I very rarely give tips or "help," but this time I did so gladly.

Today, I have listened to that song a couple of times, and now I'm about to listen to it for the third...

It is romantic, the singer has a sweet voice... It makes me sigh.

But I'd better hurry and get ready; later, I am going to the shopping mall with my partner. She asked me to accompany her to buy some shoes, and we will probably have dinner there before coming home to continue sharing time together.

Before taking a shower, I will leave a piece with only instrumental music from my land—that is what I feel like listening to right now.
