Louise recently started a relationship with David. At first, their relationship was going well, but soon, an old flame, Reggie, started pestering Louise, which made David jealous. To pacify David, Louise told Reggie upfront that they were over and that he should keep his distance from her.

Reggie didn't like this and didn't want to listen, which ended up in an altercation with David when he approached them while they were on a date. At first, it was just verbal, but not long after, fists were thrown. The altercation became so bad that the police had to be called. At the police station, the two men were asked questions, after which it became clear who was at fault.

Moreover, when the police found out Reggie often followed Louise like a stalker, they warned him that he'd be charged with a crime if he didn't stay away from her. Finally, peace returned, and David and Louise's relationship improved after that incident.
