Peer Pressure. MCGI TOPIC REVIEW

Peer pressure is something that has influenced our society to a great deal. We do not know this because we have not submitted ourselves to consider it. This is very true. Peer pressure has shaped our society over the years. Peer pressure has affected significantly almost every aspect of our lives. Think of our social life; think of our economic life, think of our moral life. There is virtually no aspect of our lives as a people which peer pressure has not shaped for us.

For instance, most of the underdeveloped countries where educational institutions have fallen down with terrible decay, many of our young ones (if not almost all our youths) have been trained by peer pressure. This is why we see that our society is producing refrags in growing numbers yearly. The children which we did not consider important to train, their peers are training them and fast recruiting them into social vices.

Maybe you have not known, even the economic life of our countries is also affected. The influence of peers has produced (in large numbers) counter productive citizens. Will this not affect our economic life? Our society is fast losing its moral standard because the kind of citizens which we are producing are those who have lost all their moral decency. So, peer pressure is seriously affecting our society.
