Things I'm grateful for
Looking at the year so far, I've come a long way. When this year started, it was like a clean slate for me. An opportunity to go harder and just experience life in its entirety.
There have been ups and downs, there have been times when I felt hopeless, as if nothing good was going to come my way, but I'm glad I didn't give up then, because things did in fact, go my way eventually. I learnt to be grateful both in the good times and in the bad times because both don't last forever.
One big thing that happened to me was the people I met. I met a lot of amazing people this year. Made good friends.
As humans, most times, the quality of our friendships define us too. When you have good people in your life, life tends to be easier. You learn from them, they push you to be better and they come through for you when you need them.
I can't imagine what life would be like without good friends.
Another thing I'm grateful for this year is the opportunities that came my way. There were a good number of opportunities that came my way this year. They were jobs and chances to connect with people. I was able to earn from these opportunities. In a way, this is connected with friends because it was through some of my friends that I got these opportunities.
One thing I'm really grateful for this year is my health. There wasn't a time when I fell so sick that I had to be admitted in a hospital. I've had a good health. Good health is underrated. When you realize that someone with a terrible health can't do anything, and they are usually in a lot of pain, you will appreciate good health greatly.
These are the things I'm grateful for this year and I hope better continues to happen.
