when we expect there will be a tomorrow, of course we won't live today as if it were our last... of course we won't risk it all... of course we won't be completely vulnerable or courageous... of course we won't live completely present, naked, raw, authentic, and natural... we'll always have an out; we'll always have an excuse and escape; we'll always make space for boredom, ennui, and ineffectuality.
if we're not paying attention, we'll unconsciously adapt to and get comfortable in most any situation or circumstance.
pain, struggle, and scarcity can be just as comfortable as ease, flow, and abundance.
we choose. we decide.
