Sphynx
The domain of Marie Antoinette within the grounds of the Château of Versailles is a fascinating place. Behind the Petit Trianon, a place of refuge from the stuffy protocol of the palace, there is a well-appointed pavillon. On the steps are arranged a collection sphynxes. My photo shows a Sphynx facing inwards with the Petit Trianon in the background looking a little decayed with seemingly unkempt trees.
