Hanging Out By The River

It's Hot

Not sure where you live, but here it's super hot. It's close to 40°C and there aren't many places that are suitable for that kind of weather to hang around. Since I get bored staying indoors all the time, I had to go for a walk... somewhere... by the water.

The big river nearby is probably the best area to stay somewhat cooler. Wind blows frequently and there is plenty of shade from the large trees growing here. There are also plenty of pebble stones on the shore which are fantastic for skipping them on the water. And when one looks closer...

... one can find a lot of aquatic life! There is plenty of river shrimp living here and even a lobster?! If so, I didn't know we had that kind of animals living in the river - I guess it's a good sign since it shows that the water is clean.

There were also quite a few number of geese walking and swimming around the area. While they can get aggressive when getting too close to them (especially with young), they were rather friendly that day. I saw many people giving them bread; not sure if that's actually good for them.
