Jus Gedong
While I was waiting for my food at Nasi Kokoh, I popped over to Jus Gedong and ordered two juices for myself and my friend. Initially, we were going to order the mixed berry as an antioxidant drink, but it turned out to be sold out. Only the Matcha Berry and Soursop were left. In the end, I ordered the Soursop Breeze with a mix of soursop and vanilla ice cream. Meanwhile, my friend’s Berry Matcha was a blend of strawberry and matcha.
Each of these two drinks cost 25,000 rupiah. Quite a bargain, I reckon, given the portions were also quite generous.
When my food arrived, my drinks were ready shortly after. So it worked out perfectly. I watched people coming and going, looking for food—wondering what they’d eat for lunch today. Finally, I’m no longer curious about this food corner. I’m still curious about the flat meatballs at the Blok M food court. However, perhaps I’ll come here again another time—on a weekday or a non-holiday—because it’s incredibly, unbelievably crowded here.
I’ll have to hurry because after this, I still have some book hunting to do at the book bazaar in the basement. I wonder if I’ll manage to bring home some books, or if I’ll just go home feeling full? I’ll finish my meal here and hurry off. Thank you for reading my post. See you in the next one.
Hi, I am the child of the universe, I like to read books with various genres. I was born in the city of batik but can't draw batik yet. I want to be a novelist, but my works are only short poems that are included in anthology books.
