Inverted Tulip and ''Çiriş Herb''
Hello friends. I haven't shared a post in this community for a long time. With the arrival of spring, I can now share a lot of posts in this community. Last week, about 10 days ago, we encountered heavy snowfall. There was no serious frost after the snowfall, and the trees were not affected much. Recently, the temperature has suddenly risen and the trees have started to bloom.
There is an endemic plant, the inverted tulip, in our neighbor's garden. If this plant is plucked, transported or traded, there is a huge fine if it is detected. It is under protection. Under normal circumstances, it is not possible to see an inverted tulip in city centers. It grows in high altitude places and cold climates.
I remember that the Inverted Tulip bloomed a little earlier than previous years. First, the leaves and flowers of the tree would bloom, and then this plant would start to bloom.
The name of the plant in the image is "Asphodel grass". It grows in high altitude, cold climates in Turkey. It does not normally grow in city centres. As soon as the snow melts in the spring, it begins to grow very rapidly. If suitable conditions are provided within a week, it can grow 25-30 centimeters.
There are people who collect this plant and sell it in city centers. The plant is consumed in many ways. However, the most preferred one is cooked in the form of spinach. It has a very pungent odor. In previous years, I did not prefer this plant food. I've started consuming enough lately.
