First Time At The Mall After A Year!

It has been year since I went to a mall. Aside from the lockdown and quarantine guidelines of the government, the fact that I have a toddler (who is so clingy) made it hard for me to go out. I do my grocery shopping in a nearby store which is just a walking distance from the house. For non essential goods, i purchase them online.

This is a 360 degrees turn from what i am used to. I used to be a working mom, so traveling is a part of my daily activities. But since the pandemic, I just stayed home. I need to protect myself and my baby. Thanks to Netflix and Youtube, i survived the boredom. 😅

However, our fridge was broken, so the urgent need to purchase a replacement is inevitable. So after a year of hibernation, I was finally able to go to the mall!

Going out for the first time after a year, I was surprised of the changes in our city. The roads are wider. There are new buildings everywhere! New condominiums sprouted like mushrooms! 😂

Health protocols was implemented when entering the mall. You must wear face mask and face shield. I presented my QR code and took my body temperature in the scanner situated at the entrance gate. Personal QR codes are used to track the locations the individual visited.

Inside the mall, big SALE signs are posted on almost all items! This is the store’s way of inviting customers.

Unfortunately, people are not enticed. You will notice the few people inside the mall.
