This is the low-key life I’m living at the moment.

For the past four months or thereabout, I’ve been fairly off social media. My settings do not show whenever I log in to check what’s happening once in a while. for my WhatsApp, my last scene and read receipt have been off and my display photo has been off too. I haven't been making posts and I must be sincere, it's adulthood that's dealing with me.

I’ve come across this argument a lot about whether it’s better to stay off social media or continue living your life online as if nothing is happening, even when adulthood is dealing with you. I once supported the idea of keeping being lively irresistible of what's happening in one's life but look at me now, I'm practicing the very low-key life in this stage I am.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not experiencing depression, although symptoms of that come once in a while, I just decided to live a low-key life, avoid being seen and also avoid social media distractions while I focus and chase my goals.

I've noticed that the more someone shows up online, makes a lot of posts, the more one attracts attention and also gets asked for money. I just want a situation where people will only hear about a breakthrough, and the news fades within a short period because I won’t be there to keep it trending. An example is posting about my wedding card on my social media account when the time comes, and after that, I won’t be available to prolong the discussion online. After all, I’m not into content creation on social media.

This is the low-key life I’m living at the moment.

Thank you.
