Kevin to Napoli? Hmmm!
Hey football lovers! I get curious a lot whenever an A-list football club goes on to sign old players. I know these old players have experience, but time is no longer on their side, and age will tell on them compared to the fresh, young, and vibrant blood.
When Manchester City announced the departure of KDB from their club, I concluded that Kevin was going to join a less prominent club so as to have less time and face less pressure compared to how it is in very competitive clubs like those in Europe and elsewhere. But no, there's trending news that his next destination is Napoli, and it's very surprising because Napoli, in Serie A, is a very competitive club.
To me, I think he should have gone to Saudi Arabia, considering that he has used up all his quality at Manchester City. It is well known that once a player, after spending his entire career at Manchester City, gets transferred to another club, they usually don't perform as well.
To me, he is too old to choose a very competitive club like Napoli as his next destination. I hope he doesn't lose his value in this new destination.
