I think I am a dog,

I scratch out a solution at the emergence of your every need,

Your enthusiasm died after I was bought

after the bargain was complete.

Still, I stand in resilient loyalty to you,

even when your whip Is lifted high,

I run to you when you whistle,

And bare the results of your brittle temper and being treated as vile.

At night you release me to safeguard your needs in the compound of your bed,

And at day your house is the cage I dwell,

I was betrothed to you,

Behold , A little later, I am your fool.

Once more , a big thanks to @terrycraft for an opportunity to be a part of this .

This Poem was inspired by a story my Aunt told me of her failed marriage.
