Made This Delicious Thandai For Holi

Thandai is a popular refreshing summer drink in India and is almost always served during the festival of Holi and also Mahashivratri. Thandai is also known as Shardai.

For Holi, peope are know to add in Bhang ( which is basically the leaves and flower heads of cannabis) in little amount is added to thandai but my version is minus the bhang since this is what we were allowed to drink when we're around parents atleast No getting high for us! 😂

Thandai is made using a various number of nuts and delicious spices which are said to have a blissful cooling effect on the body and hence the name “Thandai”, which in Hindi literally means “cooling”.

This is a great drink to serve to especially duringthe super hot summers in India when temperatures are 110 F + ! So let's get to it

Here's what you’ll need to make this delicious Thandai

  • 1 Tbsp
Almond, pista, cashew, chironji, khus khus, hemp hearts, dried rose petals
  • 1 tsp Cardamon, clove, fennel, saffron
  • Blend it with 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • Add it to a glass of chilled milk mix and enjoy!
