When will we have onchain smart-contracts?
I think true decentralization and proper trustless operation needs verifiable smart contracts on the hive blockchain. The current method of using bots off-chain is not satisfying. They can go offline for any reason, they can go rouge themself or get infected and do harm by others intentions.
We need on-chain smart-contracts. The question is when and how do we get it?
