Birthday present...for myself

So I will have a birthday next week. And I decided that I will do two things I don't do. Maybe as a start for doings things differently in my life.

I came from a family where we always had to pay attention on the money we had. This led me to a behaviour where I take every excess money aside instead of spending on useless things. Since I joined the crypto family this means I invest here or keep some liquid in my bank account.

The two things I don't do

I don't take profits

Yep, I know that I should sometimes take profits, but instead I just reinvest them. All the time.

I don't buy myself anything

Well, almost. I still buy essential things like clothes or shoes. But I only buy things that I have to.

This year will be different

Crypto projects taught me that you actually HAVE TO reward yourself if you do good things, like a succesful trade or an achievement in a play-to-earn game. And what would be a better occasion to reward myself than my birthday?

And I decided that the source of these rewards will be Rising Star as I have great progress there.

The plan

I will start with a simple flow

1. Every month I will take out one week worth of STARBITS.
2. Convert these to HIVE
3. I go to https://wleo.io/hive and send my HIVE to polygon address at https://nexo.io
4. Buy something with my nexo card.

Conclusion

I hope this new mindset will kickstart my journey and other aspects of my life too. I will work harder subconciously to achieve better results. And I will be happier because I gave myself rewards for my work.

If this works out well, I will make a reward flow from another source, maybe dex earnings.
