Cats and Behavioural Scratching II

Grow of the claws will follow with a cat and often be a reflection of general health condition. A healthy cat will produce strong claws. Cats are instinctive and will retract and show their claws in different situations depending on what is happening around them. It is their way of asserting dominance in some cases as they protect territory, used a tool for a traction for movement and can even be leveraged for a good stretch.

Cat scratches can become an issue in any household as it serves as another way to mark territory. Aside from etching in a message, hormonal release will occur to leave a scent behind, this will happen all around the house as a cat gets comfortable around what they feel is their territory.
