According to the latest research, oil production in Russia has updated the record level of last year. In 2019, oil production in the country reached 560.2 million tons, for comparison, in 2018 this amount was 556 million tons, and in 2017 it was 549 million tons. the Russian Federation is indeed consistently increasing oil production, enhancing annual production records for the post-Soviet development of the industry.
It should be noted that today Russian oil producers have come close to the Soviet maximum of the Russian SFSR, set in 1987, when oil production in the country reached 569.5 million tons.
