Generational Street Art- Rainbow's End

This is a mural my dad (soundwatercorp@soundwatercorp) painted in 1979 in a place called Avondale- the east section of downtown Birmingham. He painted this rainbow in 1979, before I was born, on the side of a music venue he owned and operated called the "The Rainbows End." His place was a Christian music venue and hangout. They served coffee and teas, had parlor games, and a stage. He used this place to feed + offer sanctuary to the homeless, have his favorite bands play, and just have a sober spot to chill. I think it's pretty cool that no one has painted it over it in almost 40 years.
