Carnival Parade Culture In Indonesia
Hola...
In this video I want to show how the tradition in Aceh when celebrating Indonesia's 79th Independence Day, carnival parades with performances of various creative costumes, traditional costumes, or even pedicabs decorated in such a way that they resemble military vehicles, namely "TANK", and there are also those who wear clothes that resemble certain figures.
The carnival parade commemorating the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia is a lively and colorful annual event. Usually, this parade is held on August 17 to celebrate the independence day. In this carnival, various community groups, schools, government agencies, and other organizations participate by presenting various attractions.
Each participant usually wears traditional clothing from various regions in Indonesia, creative costumes that reflect a certain theme, or uniforms that depict their profession or group identity. In addition, the parade is also accompanied by various performances such as traditional dances, regional music, and drum bands.
The floats decorated with various ornaments and colorful flowers are also the main attraction in this carnival. Some floats even depict miniatures of historical buildings, culture, or themes of the struggle for independence.
The people who watched the parade filled the streets with enthusiasm, giving applause and cheers to the participants. The atmosphere became very lively with the sound of music, shouts of encouragement, and colorful costumes and decorations that filled the streets.
This carnival parade is not only a moment to celebrate independence, but also to show the diversity of Indonesian culture and strengthen national unity. Hopefully this video can entertain you all, thanks for whatching.....!
