Foggy fall morning
It was a crisp 33F this morning with a little fog hanging on the water at the marina.
The island that serves as a breakwater has some color on it. A lone maple and some sumac ground cover.
Nice light this morning. Eventually haha. The sun didn't come up until 7:23am today. We fall back soon but its just fighting the inevitable march towards winter. Late sunrises, early sunsets.
Color hanging on along the lake. This point catches the morning sun with the mountains behind staying in the shadows.
I like the sky in this shot. Better photo composition I think.
When in doubt on composition, just zoom in lol. The leaves are hanging around down low but the tops of the mountains are already bare. Color starts on the mountain tops then works its way down the mountains. Same with the bare trees as the leaves fall. Fall is definitely a period of beauty but also a period of loss as the summer leaves us.
