Window Display
Here is my entry to the sketchquest drawing contest inspired by a window display that is filled with warm clothing and cozy environment.
It took a while to finish my drawing because there are three sections that needed attention and details.
The building above adds to the cozy winter feel and I must nail it from the colors to the warm glow on the windows. The building next to it although looking insignificant required much of my time
This is the most challenging and time consuming part the window display and the merchandise. Drawing the window and the building took a few iteration as I could not get the curved window and the shelves and the upper part right. Took a break before I get frustrated then went back patiently adding details like the coats and clothes as well as the shelves each item carefully drawn and considered and the final edit looks satisfying
This is an alternative to the final look the difference is the tree which is from my newsstand drawing for downtown December Doodle. What do you think about this tree?
