The early bird catches ... the sunrise.

Morning you lot.

Well, another day and another night where I woke up far too early. I've never been much of a sleeper; it has its benefits this time of year.

I was awake, showered and dressed well before the sunrise at 05:55 in this whereabouts this morning, so I lobbed Lola in the car and we had a beach walk. It was stunning! For once it wasn't too cold either so I didn't feel such a fool in my shorts - I've not moved to jeans/trousers at all this winter, except for work.

We has only been at the beach a few minutes when the sun just started to break over the horizon.

Lola had a morning of saying hello to everyone on the beach. That's fairly standard - everyone knows Lola.

We met and spoke to this chap sitting on a log smoking his morning cigarette. He had a dog too and Loka and it had a morning sniffing whilst walking in circles session.

We seem to be a county of early risers. There's never a lack of people on the beach to say "morning" too, as the sun rises.
