FOXY EYES Makeup Look

He estado un poquito perdida, no porque yo lo haya querido así, sino por las ocupaciones y responsabilidades del día a día. La última vez que quise participar en las iniciativas quincenales, específicamente, para el neón makeup look, dispuse de muy poco tiempo y estaba algo estresada así que realmente no obtuve ningún resultado con el que estuviese conforme. Me prometí, entonces, que la próxima vez me maquillaría con mucho más tiempo, relajada, escuchando música (como lo suelo hacer). Y eso hice en esta ocasión para el "Foxy Eyes Makeup"

Esta tendencia de maquillaje consiste en crear el efecto visual de ojos más alargados o rasgados. Se logra a través de técnicas de delineado y difuminados puntiguados que generan una ilusión de "lifting" en el rostro, haciendo que la mirada luzca más llamativa y sexy.

Lograr que unos ojos redondos se vean alargados no es tarea fácil, pero mi secreto está en realizar el delineado en la parte interna y externa del ojo, un poco más alargado de lo que realmente lo haría. Comúnmente me he hecho el Foxy Eyes con delineador negro pero en esta ocasión utilicé delineador marrón y amé aún más el resultado. Siento incluso que el maquillaje se ve un poquito más natural.

El delineado no es lo único que hace falta para lograr este efecto. También es importante maquillar las cejas con una forma recta, ubicar las sombras más oscuras en los extremos de los ojos y aplicar máscara de pestañas hacia afuera, no hacia arriba. Yo agregué un detalle más que vi recientemente en redes sociales: piedras brillantes y perlitas en la parte superior del lagrimal, para aportar un toque de brillo adicional. Estuve indecisa de cuál labial utilizar pero al final escogí una tonalidad rojiza, que pienso que combinó muy bien con el resto de los colores escogidos.

I've been a little bit lost, not because I wanted it that way, but because of the day to day occupations and responsibilities. The last time I wanted to participate in the bi-weekly initiatives, specifically, for the neon makeup look, I had very little time and was a bit stressed so I didn't really get any results that I was happy with. I promised myself, then, that next time I would do my makeup with much more time, relaxed, listening to music (as I usually do). And that's what I did this time for the "Foxy Eyes Makeup".

This makeup trend consists of creating the visual effect of more elongated or slanted eyes. It is achieved through eyeliner and smudging techniques that generate an illusion of "lifting" in the face, making the eyes look more striking and sexy.

Making round eyes look elongated is no easy task, but my secret is to make the liner on the inside and outside of the eye a little more elongated than it really would be. I've commonly done Foxy Eyes with black eyeliner but this time I used brown eyeliner and loved the result even more. I even feel like the makeup looks a tiny bit more natural.

Eyeliner is not the only thing needed to achieve this effect. It's also important to make up the eyebrows in a straight shape, place darker shadows at the corners of the eyes and apply mascara outwards, not upwards. I added one more detail that I recently saw on social media: glitter stones and pearls at the top of the tear trough, to add an extra touch of sparkle. I was undecided on which lipstick to use but in the end I chose a reddish shade, which I think combined very well with the rest of the colors chosen.
