Playing with the mirrors | Monomad Challenge [ENG-ESP]

Portraying ourselves is a way of deciphering ourselves.

And what if we do it in front of the mirror? I think it gives us back more than just a body and a face.

This mirror was special, it was double, I started to play with it and when I looked at the photos afterwards, I understood that we all have many faces.

And I'm not just talking about the physical, which is obvious, for example your left profile is not the same as your right profile, have you noticed? I'm also talking about what you see in you, beyond your physical features, when you look in the mirror.

Can you see what you transmit?

When someone else photographs you, they can capture aspects of you that you didn't know, and that's great, we should all experience it sometime to broaden our perception of ourselves. And when you portray yourself, you explore and deepen your physical characteristics and personality.

An activity like looking in the mirror, something we do every day when we go to get ready, may seem superficial, but I think it's really an act of recognition, it's giving ourselves the go-ahead or not to go out into the world and show ourselves both physically and spiritually.

Retratarnos es una manera de descifrarnos.

¿Y qué tal si lo hacemos frente al espejo? Yo creo que este nos devuelve más que un cuerpo y una cara.

Este espejo era especial, era doble, me puse a jugar con él y al mirar las fotos luego, comprendí que todos tenemos muchas caras.

Y no hablo sólo de lo físico que es evidente, por ejemplo tu perfil izquierdo no es igual que el derecho, ¿te has dado cuenta? También hablo de lo que ves en ti, más allá de tus rasgos físicos, cuando te miras al espejo.

¿Puedes ver lo que transmites?

Cuando otra persona te fotografía, puede captar aspectos de ti que desconocías, y eso es genial, todos deberíamos experimentarlo alguna vez para ampliar nuestra percepción de nosotros mismos. Y cuando te retratas a ti mismo, exploras y profundizas en tus características físicas y personalidad.

Una actividad como mirarnos al espejo, algo cotidiano que hacemos cuando vamos a arreglarnos, quizás puede parecer superficial, pero creo que en realidad es un acto de reconocimiento, es darnos el visto bueno o no para salir al mundo y mostrarnos tanto física como espiritualmente.
