Iguana greeting [ENG-ESP]

Greetings to all the creators of this Hive and Happy 2023!
On the second to last day of the year I was passing by a small square that is half hidden across an alley and I came across these reptiles that I find beautiful and very friendly.

They were two iguanas that had come down from the trees to sunbathe and eat something. When I approached them to take some pictures, the last ones I took in 2022 by the way, they were looking at me in a very funny way, one of them turned his back to me and the other one seemed to be waving at me.

Nearby there was a group of children playing and they noticed the presence of the iguanas because they saw me photographing them, anyway they were not too interested in us humans being there, they seemed very focused on their business.

In Venezuela it is very common to find iguanas in squares and parks, I love to watch them, it seems to me that they are like mini dinosaurs.

El penúltimo día del año estaba pasando por una pequeña plaza que se encuentra medio escondida al atravesar un callejón y me topé con estos reptiles que me parecen hermosos y muy simpáticos.

Eran dos iguanas que habían bajado de los árboles a tomar un poco de sol y comer algo por ahí. Cuando me les acerqué para hacerles algunas fotos, las últimas que hice en 2022 por cierto, se me quedaban mirando de forma muy graciosa, una de ellas me dio la espalda y la otra parecía saludarme.

Muy cerca había un grupo de niños jugando y se dieron cuenta de la presencia de las iguanas porque me vieron fotografiarlas, de todos modos a ellas no les interesaba demasiado que nosotros los humanos estuviéramos ahí, se veían muy concentradas en sus asuntos.

En Venezuela es muy común encontrarse con iguanas en plazas y parques, a mí me encanta mirarlas, me parece que son como unos mini dinosaurios.
