Close Out Your Positions
There was a guy who had a spread and the contracts expired worthless. But then after hours the stock moved . . . a LOT. His sell contract was exercised and right after it was exercised, it moved again the opposite way. He was on the hook for the difference which was something like 30 grand or something. If I remember right it was a Tesla spread. It's probably not going to happen to you, but it's the reason we always say to close out your positions yourself. Especially the sold legs. Straight up CC or CSP don't suffer from this BTW
