Squirrel Sunday - Metamorphosis

The squirrels are back for another #squirrelsunday

A young squirrel discovered a strange capsule in the field by the humans.

The chipmunk warned him not to eat it.

As usual the young squirrel ignored the chipmunk's advice and gulped it down.

Everything was fine for a day or so but soon the metamorphosis started happening.

First the squirrel lost most of its hair.

Then is started wanting to eat only fish.

finally its metamorphosis was almost complete as it started running towards the lake.

When it emerged from the water it was something completely different.

Turns out it ate some kind of radioactive medicine that the humans use to cure cancer. In squirrel it simply converts them into a reptilian snapping turtle. This morphed squirrel still dreams of running around in the trees eating walnuts, but now it has to face the reality of living on the bottom of the lake eating algae and fish. He should have listened to the chipmunk.
